VAL TRONCEA VALLEY ELF GALLERY (11-29 August 2014)

11-12 08 2014

This is the first night i've placed the coil into the ground
Very quiet night, the only one without Alfvèn Resonances.

Second night. Ionospheric Alfvèn Resonances clearly visible from 0.1 Hz to about 6 Hz.

13-14 08 2014

During the night of 12-13 August, finally i've got a complete evolution of  Alfvèn Resonances , their structure and their formation from
start to finish during
about 8 hours.1800 meters  over the western Alps: a perfect place for ELF Reception.
From now on, Alfvèn Resnonances will be  almost always visible during august spectrograms.

19-20 08 2014

During this night the coil received a geomagnetic pulsation  (PC1) . It was one of the few recorded in 2014. (Red spot on the lower left)
from 0.1 Hz to about 4 Hz. Alfvèn Resonances also present. Here is the same PC1 processed with Sonic Visualizer :

I then made audible the sound recording ,with a diffrent sample rate and
speeded up 400 times. Whole description of the event into the video:

20-21 08 2014

Still a trace of another PC1 (?) , this time very weak compared to  the yesterday's one .
